Neolithic to Norse: The Udal, North Uist

10.30 am – 2:30 pm

Join resident archaeologist Dr Kate MacDonald for a guided walk to the Udal, one of Scotland’s longest-lived settlements, occupied from the Neolithic to the Norse period and beyond.

Meet at the car park signposted from the A865 at Greinetobht (NF 819 756).

The walk will cover approximately 4 miles, mainly on established pathways, machair, and the beach.
Walking boots and waterproofs are recommended.

£25 p/person. Includes packed lunch supplied by Taigh Chearsabhagh Café.
Children under 12 free. Friendly dogs welcome.
